What's Good, Providence (2/25)
Fun that costs nothing, a timely recommendation, help around the house, bottomless mimosas, and where to find family-friendly arcade games, food, and sips in one place.
Happy Tuesday, Providence. You know the drill – grab your coffee (or whatever you sip in the morning), kick back, and let The PVD Current serve up this week’s What’s Good Edition featuring five things that’ll help you live better, stay ahead, stress less, and enjoy more ☕️
Let’s get to it.

💰️ See cool stuff for $0
The Museum of Natural History & Planetarium is free for Providence residents this Saturday (and the first Saturday of every month).
Any other day, admission is just $2, or you can snag an annual membership for unlimited visits and discounts. If you haven’t been, expect everything from dino fossils to space exhibits, plus a planetarium that makes you feel like you’re floating through the cosmos →
If you prefer to explore on your own, you can take yourself on an art tour through downtown.
The Avenue Concept has installed murals, sculptures, and gardens all over Providence, plus they’ve got plaques, maps, and an interactive app to guide you from one stop to the next. It’s like a treasure hunt for art →

🍕 Eat, drink, and play with the fam
G Pub offers locally sourced gastro-style food, 50+ craft beers, fun cocktails, arcade games, shuffle board, billiards, air hockey, yard games, and more.
It’s a one-stop shop for after work, after school, or weekend family fun. They’re hosting trivia tonight, but there’s plenty more to do if that’s not your jam. On top of all the games and entertainment, there are 17 wide-screen TVs and large tables that are perfect for watching the game.
You can also stop by for Appy Hour Monday through Thursday between 4 and 6 for $6 - $8 appetizers. Come to dominate the fam at pinball or shuffle board, stay for the delicious food and sips →

🛎️ Tax season is upon us
Like it or not, tax season is here, and the longer you put it off, the more stressful it gets. Thankfully you don’t have to do it alone (unless you really want to).
Ebenezer Tax Services has over 12 years of experience helping individuals and businesses tackle tax prep, payroll, and legal documentation without the headache. Whether you're self-employed, running a business, or just trying to make sure you get the best refund possible, their expert team will walk you through the entire process.
They’ve built a reputation for personalized service and trusted advice—so you can file with confidence instead of last-minute panic.
The deadline’s closer than you think—might as well check this off your list now →

🏠️ A monthly subscription for… house work?
Whether you’re a homeowner or renting, Surv offers affordable monthly plans for those of us who need an extra set of hands around the house.
From moving and junk removal to yard work, cleaning, and odd jobs, their monthly membership gives you a set number of hours you can use every month however you’d like. There are multiple tiers to choose from depending on how much help you need, making it a convenient way to get things done you’d normally put off for later (or ignore forever).
Each month, they’ll reach out to you and ask what you need help with. From there, they’ll find the right people and schedule it all in advance. If your to-do list seems to grow no matter what you do, it’s worth taking a look →

🍾 Bottomless mimosas? Say less
Rogue Island is making Thursdays and Fridays even better with $25 bottomless mimosas (or Bloody Mary’s) during brunch with the purchase of an entrée.
Not a brunch person? Wednesdays at Rogue mean a pound of wings plus a tall boy for $10, and Thursday nights are all about their signature Rogue Burger — you can get one plus a 16oz pint or can for just $20.
Everything’s farm-to-table highlighting local ingredients and their craft beer list is locally curated from small-scale producers. Consider your next indulgence planned →
