🥟 New Caribbean Spot Opens in Providence

Ja Patty is having a ribbon-cutting at its tuck shop at 1577 Westminster Street in Providence on January 10. Known for its Caribbean-inspired patties and rice bowls, the recently opened shop offers a cozy setting to enjoy island flavors. The grand opening celebration kicks off at 10 AM with complimentary samples, discounts, and a free patty for the first 50 customers. The hours for the tuck shop are: Thursday: 11 AM–8 PM, Friday & Saturday: 11 AM–9 PM, Sunday & Monday: 11 AM–8 PM.

👞 Berk’s Shoes Closing After 50 Years

After five decades on Thayer Street, Berk’s Shoes & Clothing Store is shutting its doors on January 25. In a heartfelt note to customers, the store expressed gratitude for the memories shared over the years. Customers can shop final sales and discounts leading up to the closing date. While the reason for the closure wasn’t disclosed, Berk’s assures patrons that the decision was made thoughtfully. Visit before Jan. 25 for farewell deals!
