It’s Restaurant Week in Central Falls 🥘
Central Falls Restaurant Week started on Friday and continues until Monday, September 2nd. Restaurant Week is a great excuse to get out, try a new place, and support local businesses. Many of these restaurants are only a 15-minute drive away from Providence. This year, a wide array of restaurants are participating for you to try. You can learn more about this year’s Restaurant Week here and read about the different restaurants you can choose from.
What to Know About REAL IDs for 2025 🪪
TSA will no longer accept non-REAL ID documents as proof of identity starting May 2025. You won’t be able to fly within the US without a REAL ID. Rhode Island started issuing REAL IDs in 2018, so you may already have one. If you look at your ID and see a yellow star ⭐️ in the top corner, you have a REAL ID, and you are all set.
If you don’t have a REAL ID, it is recommended that you visit the DMV soon, to receive one. You’ll need proof of identity, your social security number, and two proof of residency documents. If you are outside of your ID renewal window, you will also need to pay $27.50.
