⚠️ PVD Current Updates

As I’m sure you noticed right when you clicked the email, I’ve made a few updates to the design and format of the newsletter based on feedback I’ve gotten from you guys. First off, I changed some colors and styling just to make the newsletter more visually appealing. Second off, I’ve removed “Coastal Commerce” which started as a business news section and has since morphed to focus more on cool real estate. I solidified the change and now Coastal Commerce is Harbor Homes. This section will showcase homes around Providence that I think are cool, unique, or otherwise interesting. Some days there won’t be a Harbor Homes section if I don’t find anything. I started PVD Current in August and now there are over 3,300 of you! Thank you for reading and responding. Any and all feedback is always appreciated to keep making PVD Current better.

🍴 Track 15 Preview & Opening Date

Track 15, a new food hall in Providence, has announced it will open on Thursday, February 27th. The hall will include food from seven popular Rhode Island restaurants and feature indoor and outdoor dining, a bar, event space, and an open-air design.

Before it opens, there will be a special preview event on Tuesday, January 16th, at 6 PM at Farm Fresh RI. Guests can sample dishes like Indian food from Little Chaska, Middle Eastern flavors from Tolia, fresh seafood from Dune Brothers, Italian dishes from Giusto, tasty bites from There, There, and pizza from Mother Pizzeria. A portion of the event’s proceeds will go to Amos House, to support their services.

I don’t usually share midweek events, but with light news and the holiday season in full swing, there’s plenty happening! Here are 5 events to check out today and tomorrow:
