Senator Reed Secures $110K for McAuley House 🎨

Senator Jack Reed delivered a $110,000 federal earmark to McAuley House in Providence to expand its programs and support Rhode Islanders experiencing homelessness. The funding will enhance McAuley House’s afternoon enrichment programs, which include art therapy, stress management, and health services, while also serving as a year-round cooling and warming center. The earmark will also help McAuley House feed up to 300 individuals daily, providing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Senator Reed praised McAuley House’s work in addressing the root causes of homelessness and fostering dignity and opportunity for vulnerable populations.

Most Expensive Condo For Sale in PVD 🏠

Source: Residential Properties

On Friday, we covered the most expensive condo ever sold on the East Side. But what’s the most expensive condo for sale right now? I looked and found that the most expensive condo for sale in Providence is right on the edge of the Jewelry District at 116 Chestnut Street. I walked right past this building this weekend and never would’ve guessed I was outside of a $1,995,000 condo. The condo is 3,100 SF and was designed by an award-winning architect. It features high ceilings, expansive windows, and custom casework. The open living space includes a high-end kitchen, dining area, and entertainment center, and the primary suite offers Downtown views. To look at interior pictures of the condo click here.
